Shakti group at IIT Madras is looking for talented and motivated full-time project staff to fill current openings in design, implementation, verification and software development for open-source RISC-V microprocessors.
Full-time positions are open in the following areas:
- RTL Design and Performance (Cores, Accelerators, SoCs)
- Core and SoC Verification
- FPGA Bring-up and Validation
- System and Application Software Development

Required: Computer Systems including Architecture, Organization, Operating Systems, Digital Design, Pipelining, Verilog/VHDL, C, C++, Python, Linux, Basic Scripting, Assembly programming.
Desired: Relevant experience in design, implementation, verification,
simulators, performance analysis, software ecosystem development and bring-up of cores, accelerators, fabrics, cache/memory systems, peripherals and SoCs.
